Is it Thursday yet?

hey guys, just got back in from another checkup, everything looks great, the baby has dropped quite a bit this week, and we are really ready to meet this little person. When our labor starts, I'll be updating this site every few hours (if I remember!!) So check back in here for play by play, news, stats, and scores.....

Patiently waiting . . . who am I kidding?

Hey everyone. Brooke here. Just thought maybe I could add a little something to our little page. I'm sure you are all waiting just as patiently as we are (HA!). Just had another checkup with our lovely midwives and everything is great! I am having alot of Braxton-Hicks contractions(which just means that my uterus is practicing and getting in shape!) but nothing for real yet. We are getting really excited for this little person to join us out here.
So, Brian had mentioned the possiblility of our due date being a little off, but I think we can safely say that it is probably more accurate than we would like! We'll just have to wait! Well, since there is nothin' new and exciting to report at the moment, I'm out!

first post... wow, I'm more nervous than I thought......

Well, it's Jan 7th, and welcome to the first posting in our cozy little corner of the information superhighway. Brooke is doing great, although we are definitely reaching a point where we're ready to have this baby!!! Sleep is getting harder and harder to come by, as is overall comfort. We were told by our midwife, Rhoda, that Brooke has been measuring consistently large for her due date, so the original date of Feb. 1st might be somewhat miscalculated. So we're not real sure when to expect this baby, but probably in the next couple weeks. It's been a fast 9 months, that's for sure....
